TRU Women in Trades is hosting a 13-week Women in Trades Training Exploratory Program at their Kamloops campus, March 13th – June 16th, 2023.
 
This course is fully-funded, which means that the cost of tuition, tickets, PPE, tools, parking and child supports are all included!
 
Applications are only open until Friday December 2nd, so apply now to gain experience in carpentry, piping, electrical, HVAC, welding, and more!

Admission requirements

The Program may be right for you if you are:

  • A Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or protected person (under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, S.C. 2001, c. 27) legally entitled to work in Canada;
  • Living in British Columbia
  • Not a full-time student (not enrolled in a high school or post-secondary training)
  • Not actively participating in another provincially or federally funded labour market program
