With a heavy heart, we must share the news that after many years of dedicated service and transformative work, HeroWork will be closing its doors. As a long-time partner with HeroWork, we want to acknowledge the incredible contribution this charity has made to the trades community, not only by renovating services that we may need but by bringing together tradespeople, providing them with opportunities for leadership, learning, and networking, and actively fostering a vision of a welcoming and sustainable skilled trades sector. The society is winding up due to increasing construction costs, reduced returns on fundraising and successive financial losses on renovation projects.
